Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-07-05
These terms govern your use of dimviz.com and its tools. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Dimviz computes section properties, weights and renders from the geometry you provide. These outputs are engineering estimates for preliminary and reference use only. Root fillets are excluded and angle properties are reported about geometric (not principal) axes. You must independently verify all values against certified test data and applicable codes before using them for design, structural analysis, fabrication, procurement or release. Dimviz is not a substitute for a qualified engineer or a stamped calculation, and we accept no liability for reliance on its outputs.
The service
Dimviz turns a profile’s cross-section into renders, dimensioned drawings and a datasheet of computed properties. Free features are provided as described; paid plans (Pro, Business), when launched, are subject to additional plan terms and pricing.
Your content
You keep all rights to the sections, files and data you upload or create. You grant Dimviz only the limited licence needed to process that content in order to provide the service to you. As noted in our Privacy Policy, client-side tools process your files in your browser and we do not store them.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the platform, no automated scraping beyond what our robots policy permits, and no use that infringes others’ rights.
Intellectual property
The Dimviz site, software, brand and the design of its templates are owned by Dimviz and its operator. Assets you generate from your own geometry are yours to use.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. See the engineering disclaimer above.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dimviz and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on the service’s outputs.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms; the “last updated” date reflects the current version.
